“You have come a long way, everything is for 2 May.”

Yes, that should be the line on BLESS song, which should be “You have come a long way, everything is for today.” It’s already past 3 days after the concert. I have to set my mind clear before writing this concert report, or else i might be wrote this with all-capitals, and much screaming lines. You know, the overwhelmed euphoria.

So there was this day, 2nd day of May 2012. The day where there’s about 10,000 people’s dream finally came true. The day after all this 20 years worth waiting. Yes, this is the day when L’Arc~en~Ciel finally comes to Indonesia and having a concert here. Not just a concert, it was the best one I’ve ever seen in my life.

Back to few months ago, January 2012, everyone was so excited at the day of the tour announcement, how could you believe it, when your favourite band decided to come to your own country after those years our heart draws a dream of them. And on the day when the ticket selling started, the VIP ones were sold out in just 10 mins! And this is the only country that got those all ticket sold out before the concert, after the London show does. Luckily I got my own VIP ticket! (after that painful times pressing F5 button).

And then we arrived in this day, at the venue, I saw so many people that holding the same dream as me, making a huge cloud of dream beneath us. Everyone gathered, some of them comes from around Jakarta, and some others come across the seas and continents all the way here just to see their beloved, L’Arc~en~Ciel.

This is one of the biggest achievement in my life, watching my favourite band, live up and close, in my own country! I even watched them on the first row, right on the center, Hyde’s side! I was only 3 meters away from Hyde! It’s the best spot in the venue, guess i’m too lucky eh?

Or maybe an equal payback after all this time loving them. I loved this band since about 10 years ago or maybe over. They were just a local japanese band at the time, and now they became one of the legends and have millions fans worldwide! It’s like I’m growing up together with this band. And when I saw them, it feels like you’re seeing an old friend you’ve never met before. Bringing the long awaited greetings, a simple “Hello” for each of us.

I’m so touched that they could made such a brilliant world tour with amazing special effects like this. Confettis everywhere popped up at SEVENTH HEAVEN, super-huge fireworks at READY STEADY GO, stunning visualization, and all those feathers at the end.

And there was some unforgettable moments, the funny ones and also the other one that made me cried so hard. The band member do the MCs in Bahasa Indonesia and that was hilarious! They even used the slang words here, and everyone can’t hold their laughs at the time.

And the other precious moment is when the Anata’s piano intro starts and suddenly there’s a rain pours over the venue. I’m pretty sure the rain comes from the cloud of dream we’ve made here. It was a soft, romantic drizzle that falls like a snow petals. Blessed everyone here in such an touching moment. “Because you are here,” we sang Anata’s reff altogether, making a certain shiver feeling around me. I cried. Everyone cried.

This is one of the best times in my life, and I know I would never forget this. It’s my promise to L’Arc~en~Ciel.
